From the Telegram and Gazette (full article here):
The 10-8 committee vote followed 11 hours of public comments Tuesday at a public hearing on the casino bill the governor proposed to allow three state-licensed resort casinos. Committee member Rep. Robert L. Rice Jr., D-Gardner, abstained from the vote. Rep. Richard J. Ross said he changed his vote of support to one opposed to the bill just before committee polling ended at 4 p.m. after meeting with Mr. DiMasi.
